The Office of Sustainable Energy coordinates energy policy and the implementation of renewables across government.
Priority tasks of the office are developing strategies for advancing the government’s target of 50% by 2030 and seizing opportunities for the creation of low cost, reliable, and clean energy.
Beyond 2030, the team has a role in delivering and setting the right policy environment that will allow the Territory to work towards zero net emissions by 2050.
